Woodspring Golf & Country Club has 27 holes of championship golf set in 235 acres of wonderful parkland, within an elegant, tranquil setting of rolling countryside, trees and lakes, that provides a perfect environment for business or pleasure.

The 27 hole golf course designed by Donald Steel, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, provides golfers with challenges that are testing, yet fair and enjoyable. Comprising of the Avon, Brunel and Severn, the course has been designed as three separate nine hole courses, each with its own set of characteristics.

The Brunel has some testing water features that come into play. With its small raised green, the iron play has to be impeccable if you are to play under your handicap. The Severn is the longest nine and asks for some good long tee shots to give you a good chance of making par. The greens are larger and less undulating to make it slightly easier but still a great test of golf. The Avon is the shortest of the three and asks you to hit the ball strategically, making it more important to hit the ball accurately than a long way.

A 3-tier luxurious Clubhouse, short game areas and a 25 bay floodlit driving range provide the perfect facility for everybody who wants to improve their golf. The Woodspring Pro Shop is well stocked with all the top names and all at very competitive prices.
