Sandburn Hall - a fresh approach to golf. The philosophy at Sandburn is to be open and welcoming to all golfers, whether you are just starting out in the game or have been playing for many years. Sandburn Hall encourages Junior and family group members to join in the social and fun side of golf. Ideally situated just off the A64, Sandburn is the perfect hassle-free location for visiting golfers travelling to and from east coast golf destinations.

The Par 72, 6,700 yard course set in beautiful Vale of York countryside is designed to challenge golfers of all abilities. Each of the 18 holes has unique challenges with woodlands, streams and lakes providing their own hazards. The golf course was completed in 2004 and opened in 2005 and has already been recognised as one of the best courses in the area. It is maintained to the highest standards by dedicated greenkeeping staff and has had many additional features added since opening. Recent drainage work has resulted in a significantly improved year round golf experience, with very few days being lost due to wet weather conditions.

Since 2004, the 30 hectares of tree plantations and the large lakes have become a haven for many forms of wildlife which can be seen as you play your round. All visitors are warmly welcomed to play golf at Sandburn Hall.

The Clubhouse is a friendly and welcoming place for golfers and their guests to relax before and after their round. The Sports Bar is a great meeting place to discuss the ups and downs of your game, whether in the bar or outside on the patio watching your friends finish off their round. The Sports bar is also equipped with wi-fi technology, and a big screen so you can watch all the big sporting events. The Sports Bar is open from 8am until 10pm on Mondays to Saturdays, and 8am to 9pm on Sundays, and serves a fantastic range of snacks and light meals. Bacon sandwiches are available from 8am with the full menu available from 11am.

The Golf Shop stocks an extensive range of top brand golf equipment, golf clothing and golf shoes. The Steve Robinson Golf Academy at Sandburn Hall opened in December 2008. Steve Coaches the English Ladies National and Northern squads as well as Yorkshire Union Gents and Boys, Yorkshire Ladies First Team and is one of Golf Monthly’s Top 25 Coaches in the UK. The Academy is set up to offer golf tuition for everyone, from coaching newcomers to the game in group sessions through to fellow PGA Professionals and top Amateur golfers. Steve is especially keen to offer group tuition for Juniors and Ladies to encourage these groups to either take up the sport or to develop their game. The excellent facilities available for coaching include a state of the art Academy Room, Academy Practice Holes, Short Game Practice Area, 18 Bay Driving Range with Powertees & a Grass Tee area.
