As you turn into the long tree-lined driveway of Ascot's Mill Ride Estate, you are greeted by a landscape of perfectly manicured and cross cut fairways intermingled with lakes and the mounding and hollows, which give this championship golf course a unique parkland design, coupled with an inland links feel to the starting and closing holes. Off the back white tees the course plays over 6,800 yards. Designed by international course architect Donald Steele, golfers must contend with seven picturesque lakes which all come into play (some twice) and numerous copses of woodland which all help to create a variety of playing conditions.
The opening and closing holes have a links type feel about them with the 1st and 17th holes sharing a St. Andrews style double green, and a relaxing half way hut well positioned to recharge the batteries for the memorable 10th and 11th signature holes that await. Mill Ride really does have everything, with blind shots, doglegs, water, woodland and mounding, providing a truly interesting round of golf, with each hole evidencing precision cutting and exacting attention to detail. Mill Ride has hosted numerous Professional tournaments and is a regular haunt for many of the top European Tour Players.
Our elegant Clubhouse with restaurant and oak panelled bar opens out onto a large courtyard patio overlooking the 18th green. It creates an ideal setting for 'al-fresco' dining and drinking with magnificent views over one of the best finishing holes in golf. There is a well stocked Pro Shop where friendly help and advice is always available from two fully qualified PGA Teaching Professionals.

Directions
Mill Ride, just 40 minutes from Kensington High Street, is situated in Ascot and is conveniently positioned just 15 minutes from Junction 3 of the M3 and approximately the same distance from Junction 6 of the M4.
M4 Exit 6
Take the A355 to Windsor. At the next roundabout take the B3173. Continue until the T junction. Turn right. Continue 3 miles to the roundabout past Legoland. Turn right into North Street. Continue for a mile and then take the left slip road into Lovel Road. Turn right at the cross roads into Hatchet Lane, then right into Forest Road. The entrance is 600 yards on the left. (Entrance shuts at dusk, please access using entrance in Fernbank Road, see below).
M3 Exit 3
Take the A322 to Bagshot. After 2 miles take the A332 to Ascot. Continue for 3 miles to Heatherwood Hospital roundabout. Take the A329 to Bracknell. Turn right at the first set of lights into Fernbank Road. Turn left after 400 yards into Mill Ride.
