Hart Common Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Bolton, enjoying scenic views of Cheshire and North Wales. This 18-hole parkland course enjoys USGA-standard greens, large tees, generous fairways, large imposing bunkers and natural water features, all of which can be enjoyed year-round. The championship course measures 6,737 yards off the White Tees (Par 72). A warm welcome is extended to visitors every day of the week.
There's plenty of room on this course for golfers to stay in play and be rewarded for doing so. Miss the broad fairways and you'll be in the rough, some of which is almost links-like - thin, wispy, "grab your club" type - other areas are just plain thick rough. The greens have earned a reputation for being some of the best around and are a pleasure to putt on. Bunkers and enhanced natural water hazards keep you on your toes throughout your round. Club selection can vary each time you visit, as the breeze rarely blows in the same direction or at the same strength two days running!
The Clubhouse at Hart Common Golf Club is the perfect place to wind down after your round. With several beers on tap and even more in bottles, a menu to fill even the biggest appetite and a welcoming atmosphere, the Clubhouse has it all.
As well as the main Hart Common course, there's also a 9-hole, Par 3 Academy Course. Other facilities available include a floodlit 27-bay driving range, open from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, or until 3:30 p.m. weekends. There's also a large practice putting green, built to the same exacting standards as the greens on the course. The practice green is open during daylight hours and available to anybody using the club facilities. Buggies are also available for hire.
