Dumfriesshire Golf Centre is a golf course and driving range situated in the north of the town of Dumfries, in the South West of Scotland. Playing this 18 hole, par 68 golf course is a memorable experience, with water playing an intrinsic part by coming into play on seven of the holes. There is plenty of variety with the course being a mixture of parkland and heathland. The greens are a particular feature of the course, all having subtle undulations and an exceptional putting surface. A variety of tees ensure that all standards of golfer can enjoy their game. Dumfriesshire Golf Centre feature hole is the 16th, a 146 yard par 3, with water on three sides of the green, and is followed by the toughest hole on the course, the 17th which is 410 yard par 4, with a tight second shot to a green set into a background of Heather, Birch and Pines.
Other facilities include a driving range and a short game practice area. The floodlit 20-bay driving range is ideal for honing your game using top quality mats and 2 piece tournament quality balls. The purpose built short game practice area is new to Dumfriesshire Golf Centre and incorporates links and parkland style bunkers surrounding three undulating greens. There are also small ponds protecting the practice greens to allow for a challenging and realistic golfing terrain on which you can hone your short game.
The Clubhouse provides a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere where food is served for golfers and passers-by alike. Two comfortable seating area's are available, one for dining and the other for relaxing.
