Boldmere Golf Club has a short lush 18-hole course ideal for those who prefer a less exhausting round of golf.
Positioned on the banks of one of Sutton Park's most attractive lakes, it has some excellent long par-threes and fours. There are 10 par-threes, some of which are surrounded with danger. The key to a good game on this course is to play holes 11 to 13 as par-fours as reaching the green in one is rarely accomplished. On the 16th the lake can punish any stray tee shot but provides a beautiful setting for a five- or six-iron into the green.
